Alrosa’s Deputy President Visits Diamond Week

Israel Diamond Exchange President Shmuel Schnitzer gave Yuri Okiomov a review of the planned activities of the bourse for the coming year. Okiomov responded positively to the invitation of the Israeli bourse to participate in the upcoming rough and polished events.
Alrosa’s Deputy President Yuri Okiomov this week visited the Third US & International Diamond Week.

During the visit, he held a working meeting with the IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer, which was also attended by Yekaterina Bratzina, the manager of Arcos Diamonds which is Alrosa’s subsidiary in Israel, and members of the IDE presidency.

Okiomov updated the members of the IDE presidency on Alrosa’s work program for the coming year and spoke of the changes that have taken place in terms of the company's openness and transparency.

Alrosa in 2012 began to categorize clients using objective criteria, which have worked well this year.

One of the main elements of Alrosa's sales policies is long-term contracts, lasting three years, for clients who fit Alrosa’s criteria.

Alrosa also has launched a website that displays detailed corporate policy and criteria, the Alrosa official explained.
