Israel Diamond Exchange Site Goes Mobile

The IDE web site is now optimized and available for viewing on smartphones and tablet devices. From today, all services for members are available on mobiles, including the Tagomat visitor request system.

As of today (Wednesday), the IDE web site is now optimized and available for viewing on smartphones and tablet devices so that viewers do not need to flip their screens or enlarge them in order to read the text.

The site automatically recognizes the type of device being used by the visitor and presents the appropriate viewing mode – whether for destop computers or mobile devices.

Computerization Committee Chairman, Moni Bachar, welcomed the move and said that, "The diamond exchange is working to improve the services provided to its members in various areas including browsing the website of the exchange which is now available for easy viewing and browsing on all smartphones. The IDE is currently in the process of developing further advanced services for our members."

The buttons, menus and galleries of images and videos have been adapted for surfing and viewing via mobile devices, making it easier for visitors to the site to see them and surf the web site easily and efficiently.

One of the major innovations of the site is to make services for members accessible from anywhere at any time. Downloading forms, filling out applications for tags and ordering visitor entries to the bourse using the Tagomat system is available and accessible on the site.
