IDE To Hold Meeting About Large Diamond Factory

The center will be equipped with the most advanced machinery.

The Israel Diamond Exchange's Industry Committee is inviting members of the bourse to a meeting to hear details about the establishment of a manufacturing plant for the polishing of large diamonds.

The meeting will take place on September 7 at 2pm the Harry Oppenheimer Diamond Museum in the presence of IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer and President of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association, Kobi Korn.

The factory is in the planning stages and will be built in an external space of the Maccabi building close to the Harry Oppenheimer Diamond Museum.

The plan calls for turning 400 sq meters of space which is unused currently into a factory for the good of the Israeli diamond sector. The building will also offer 15 workrooms for rent.

The factory will be connected to the Maccabi building by an internal passageway from the exchange complex.
