Russian diamond mining giant Alrosa reported rough diamond sales of $435.1 million for September.
In addition, it said that polished diamond sales for the month amounted to $18.9 million.
"In September, as expected, we saw a good demand in almost all categories of raw diamonds," commented ALROSA Vice President Yury Okoemov.
"Sales results were significantly over our September 2015 figures," he added.
