Okavango Diamonds to Display at Tender Center


The diamonds are being offered for sale to IDE members and to international buyers.
 

The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) is pleased to inform its members that its International Tenders Center (ITC) will host the Okavango Diamond Company (ODC) which will display rough diamonds that it is offering for sale.

The diamonds are two carats and larger, including special stones. The diamonds will be displayed in Israel and then go on display in Botswana. The sale of the diamonds will take place in the ODC offices in Botswana on July 27. Participation in the tender is dependent on registration with ODC and receiving its approval.

ODC representatives will be at the ITC at the IDE from April 3-5 to help anyone who wants to become an ODC customer and answer any questions regarding the sales and registration process.

The Okavango Diamond Company is a rough diamond marketing company that is wholly owned by the Botswana government. It offers its global customer base open access to scale supply of the full range of rough diamonds sourced from Botswana. With access to 15% of Debswana's run-of-mine production, ODC is an important supplier to the market with sales in the region of $500 million per annum.
