INSTRUCTIONS ON HEARING SIREN
Upon hearing the siren, make your way to the nearest protected space as detailed below, and remain there until advised that it is safe to leave.

In built-up area – enter a building and follow the instructions issued to the tenants.
In open space – Lie flat and protect your head with your hands.
Whilst travelling In a vehicle
Stop at the roadside, leave the vehicle and enter the nearest building or shelter.
If it is not possible to reach a building or shelter within the required time, leave the vehicle and lie on the ground, protecting your head with your hands.
If no further instructions are issued – you may leave the protected space after 10 minutes have elapsed.
