Relationship between Israel and the European countries

 

The EU Ambassador to Israel, Dimiter Tzantchev, paid an official visit to the Israel Diamond Exchange today.
The European Union is represented by 130 delegations all over the world. The Israel delegation manages the official trade relations between Israel and the European Union. In this regard, the delegation is in regular contact with government ministries and the business sector, and promotes expanded trade relations between the two entities. It also deals with a variety of issues concerning various trade and economic agreements between the European Union and Israel.
The Ambassador’s visit, which began at the office of the President of the Israel Diamond Exchange, where he met with members of the IDE board, President Boaz Moldawsky and bourse CEO Eran Zini reviewed the latest economic developments in the diamond exchange. The President discussed with the Ambassador the significant scope of trade between Israel and the EU. President Moldawsky stated "This is a deep and meaningful partnership for both parties and we expect to intensify the relations that exist between us. The Israel Diamond Exchange is a central factor in the relationship between Israel and the European countries." In addition, during the visit, the two examined the possibility of increasing the pace of joint activity. At the end of the visit, the President thanked the Ambassador for his visit and noted that it was a great honor and pleasure to host him at the exchange and to introduce him to its extensive activity.
