On August 1, the President of the Israeli Diamond Exchange, Mr. Yoram Dvash, met with the Prime Minister at a meeting organized by LAHAV, the Israel Chamber of Independent Organizations and Businesses.
In the meeting they discussed the state of the Israeli economy vis-à-vis the independent organizations and businesses. Yoram Dvash referred to his meeting with the Prime Minister and said that, as in previous meetings, the Prime Minister had shown knowledge of the challenges of the Israeli diamond industry and what is required for its success.
"In recent years, we have been meeting with decision-makers at the highest levels in order to raise the industry's prestige and ultimately to harness the Israeli government to help the growth and development of the industry."
