Senior Muslim Delegetion from Indonesia Visits IDE


Indonesian chamber of commerce met with the IDE president and senior officials and discussed collaborations and trade relations in the diamond industry
 
A delegation from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the Israel Diamond Exchange on Sunday. This despite the fact the Israel and Indonesia do not enjoy full diplomatic relations. The delegation, headed by Indonesian Trade Organization Vice President Mufti Hassan, was hosted by senior IDE members, headed by IDE President Yoram Dvash.
 
 
 
 
The parties discussed the establishment of collaborations and the development of trade relations in the diamond industry between the two countries. The delegation began the visit with a tour of the premises and a meeting with senior IDE members. The Indonesian delegation was shown the first video of IDE’s global awareness campaign – “I Love Natural Diamonds” – launched to highlight the unique and extraordinary features of natural diamonds.
 
IDE President Dvash, who hosted the delegation in his chamber, said: “The Indonesian diamond market is full with potential for the Israeli bourse members. We are doing everything we can to expand our worldwide collaborations. This visit is another testament to the importance of the IDE in the global diamond trade”. He added that an Israeli diamond exhibition will be held in Shanghai next week.
