Two Weeks To Go To International Diamond Wk

Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) President Shmuel Schnitzer: “We are encouraged by the ongoing rise in the number of buyers from all over the world who are registering and their confidence. We are expecting a highly successful event.”
Despite the Israeli diamond sector being on its summer vacation until August 24, the Organizing Committee of the International Diamond Week is continuing to work in order to stage a successful and memorable event.

Earlier this week the Steering Committee published the list of Israeli exhibitors who will participate in the Diamond Festival, with 325 local diamond exhibiting in the trading hall goods worth more than $1 billion.

"Although all during the year, the Israeli diamond exchange trading Hall is the world's most bustling but during the International Diamond Week to be held in the first week of September, we expect to break the record with the number of buyers and exhibitors who will participate in the event," said IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer.

"We are encouraged by the ongoing rise in the number of buyers from all over the world who are registering and their confidence. We are expecting a highly successful event.”

The Israeli diamond companies in the trading all will be joined by delegations from the Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) of New York and the Antwerp Diamond Bourse.

As previously mentioned, despite the IDE’s summer vacation, the Diamond Festival event Organizing Committee are continuing to work and provide answers to buyers who are registering for the event, and to take care of other arrangements such as hotel accommodation.

The September show will also feature an exclusive polished diamond auction by the Rapaport Group.

Meanwhile, negotiations are also taking place with other partners for the organization of additional, value-adding events during the week.
