Russia's Kristall Production Corp marks 50 years of operations

The Kristall Production Corp, situated in Smolensk in Russia, has marked its 50th year of operation, having been established by the government of the former Soviet Union on March 1, 1963.
The diamond processing enterprise has become one of the largest polishing firms in Europe, and specializes in top-quality cutting and polishing and has created the Russian Cut brand.

In a press release, Kristall said its diamonds conform to Triple Excellent standards.

Kristall polished one million diamonds just three years after being founded. To date, it has polished more than 80 million diamonds with a total weight of 9.3 million carats.

The company employs 2,200 people, and has trading offices in Antwerp, New York, Hong Kong and Dubai.
