He was accompanied by Executive Vice President Paul Rowley and VP Nicholas Moltke . The purpose of the visit was to meet with Israeli industry leaders and local clients, as well as deepen the familiarity with the market activity in Israel, it being the most significant diamond industry and trade center on the globe.

The meeting was attended by The ISDE president, Yoram Dvash; President of The Israel Diamond Manufacturers’ Association, Kobi Koren; Chairman of the Israeli Diamond Institute, Shmuel Schnitzer; Acting President of the IDE, Yehezkel Blum; CEO of the IDE, Eli Avidar, and executive managers Shai Schnitzer and Meir Delumi.
