The Israel Diamond Exchange is a private company and is not obligated to conduct tenders. However a project to conduct tenders was approved by the relevant bourse institutions at a cost of more than $ 10,000, enables the exchange to reach out to relevant entities or through the media to request bids which are reviewed by the Tender Committee.

The committee aims to protect the welfare of the public and ensures that the members receive the best value for their money.

The committee makes sure to select the highest professional suppliers (assisted by outside consultants) and to conduct financial negotiations to achieve the best commercial conditions for the diamond exchange.
