The Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association for Advancement of the Israel Diamond Industry (IsDMA) represents approximately 200 diamond manufacturers, who account for approximately 95% of the total output of the Israel diamond industry.
The members of IsDMA include large, medium-sized and small manufacturing firms, sightholders and non-sightholders. Members of all aspects of diamond manufacturing are represented in “sections” – sawing, polishing wheel reconditioning, industrial diamonds, lasers and precious stones.
The supreme body of the IsDMA is the General Assembly, which convenes annually. The policy of the IsDMA is guided by its officeholders and institutions – the president, presidium, executive committee and other committees – which are chosen once every three years in democratic elections. The General Assembly elects an Audit Committee, an Elections Committee and a Disciplinary Committee. The regular activity of the IsDMA is conducted by its general manager, deputy general manager and administrative staff.
IsDMA represents the Israel diamond industry and its manufacturers in all relevant Israeli and international forums. The major activities of IsDMA cover both internal affairs and foreign relations with industry organizations and businesses.
