 A Stream of 17 Economic Attaches at the Israel Diamond Exchange

 

The Israel Diamond Exchange, as part of its expanded activity abroad, today (Wednesday) hosted economic attaches from countries around the world. The countries represented in the visit included, among others: Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, Austria and Hungary.


The delegation began its visit with a tour and a meeting with Exchange senior management. Eran Zini, the Israel Diamond Exchange CEO, presented economic data about the diamond sector in Israel as well as about the Exchange’s ongoing activity. The delegation then toured the Exchange complex and also visited the trading hall and the Technological Wing. 


The economic attaches were very impressed with the scope of activity of Israel’s diamond sector and expressed great interest in information exchange and in deepening diamond trade relations.


Boaz Moldawsky, who hosted the delegation in his office, opened the visit and said “The diamond market in these countries offers high business potential for members of the Exchange in Israel. We are not resting on our laurels and we are doing everything we can to expand collaborations throughout the world. This visit comes after additional visits we hosted recently”. Moldawsky added that “The visit is very important in the aim of strengthening the relations and deepening the dialogue between the Israel Diamond Exchange and the embassies of countries around the world, as part of its activity to expand Israel’s trade relations in this sector”.
