International markets
Today, we had the honor of hosting Mr. Sureddi Srinivasa Rao, an executive at the State Bank of India (SBI), the largest bank in India, who was accompanied by other senior officials from India. The meeting was also attended by the CEO of SBI at the Israel Diamond Exchange, Mr. Minuan and Mr. Itlingam, and other bank representatives, as well as representatives of the Indian community at the bourse. At the meeting, the parties discussed the deepening of economic ties between the bank’s branches in Israel and India, in an effort to return the lines of credit to the diamond companies on the Israeli bourse. Mr. Rao was very impressed by the Diamond Exchange’s extensive activities vis-à-vis international markets, especially the Indian market. This is one of several recent visits being held by the bourse to benefit members of the Israel Diamond Exchange.
